Villa Rossio

Our tour guide came with my sister and me to Villa Rossio Restaurant to ask if we could use the restroom before the hour-long bus ride back to Porto. We'd been on a half-day tour of Aveiro and Costa Nova, and the guide had just told us the public restroom wasn't available. The restaurant was empty, but the waiter refused unless we bought a coffee. I don't even drink coffee! I can't give zero stars, though I would if I could. I'm writing so they know that kindness and generosity toward potential customers can earn five-star reviews. Not good, Villa Rossio! 😩

The snacks were tasty, and the staff were polite and helpful. There's a pleasant little terrace where you can catch a breeze on a hot day.

The service was amazing 🤩, and it’s a nice cafe ☕️.

It’s quiet and has a charming room, with a central location and even an elevator, though that isn’t advertised. There’s a little bit of everything nearby. But this is a B&B, not a hotel as listed, and they don’t clean the rooms or replace the towels. The room is small, there’s no refrigerator, and the bathroom sink is tiny. I’ve added photos to show what the room is like. The TV gets seven national channels, and you can’t change them.
