Breakfast was much better than I expected, and Helena and her husband were so caring and welcoming with their guests. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. They're about 5km from Azambuja, so getting there takes a walk or a drive, but it’s worth it. There are two cabins, each with a microwave and fridge, plus a larger shared kitchen if needed. WiFi and satellite TV are there too. Highly recommended.

The welcome from Helena was lovely, and she showed us around the whole place. We spent one night in the Alfaro Bungalow and had a great time. It was peaceful and beautiful outside, with a well-kept garden, a playful and respectful dog, and a friend's cat. We enjoyed wine by the fireplace in the evening. Inside, the bungalow felt cozy and magical, with a comfortable bed and nice decor. There was a delicious cake waiting for us, and breakfast had fruit, cereal, juice, bread, and croissants fresh from the oven. A full five-star stay. Can't wait to return!

I felt at home from the moment I arrived at Alfaro 95. Staying in one of the Pods/Bungallows was a really special experience, thanks to Helena and Hélio, who welcomed me with genuine care and attention to the little things. The food deserves a mention of its own. The soy chili was the best I've ever had, full of flavor, and the chocolate dessert was one I'll remember. The meal they prepare is enough that you don't need to go looking for restaurants. It really feeds both body and soul. My Pod/Bungallow was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to relax. The quiet and calm here make it a place to simply be, as well as somewhere to stay. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
