The train station is right across the street, and you can take your bike north for 26 miles on the train for 5 euro. From the station, it's a short, beautiful ride to Goleta, horse country. Pilgrims should get their passport stamped at the city office, a short walk away, but note that it only opens after 3pm. It's a lovely residential hotel.

This family-run residence was so welcoming. We got in late, but the lady who greeted us still went out of her way to find us a good restaurant. The apartment was spacious and just right, with a balcony and a bathroom for each double or triple room. The mattress was good, and the place is very central, with Lisbon only a 30 mins ride away. Highly recommend!

For tired peregrinos, this is a good choice. The rooms are small but clean and well equipped, with a very hot shower and a warm welcome. If you're willing to pay a little more, it's a significant step up from the albergue.

The room was clean, practical, and made for a restful night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple and served next door, with a nice choice of pastries and good coffee.
