We had no trouble finding a table, and there were plenty available without booking. The portions were generous, and the local food tasted amazing. We tried the Robalo com Almeijoas rice (risotto), Bife da Vazia, and chicken bitoque for the kid, and left very satisfied. A great choice when visiting Belmonte, with an easy-to-reach location.

The welcome was unkind, and I wouldn’t recommend eating here. All the dishes came with fried potatoes and no vegetables, so everything felt unhealthy and fried. At first there was jazz playing, but the manager switched it off at 9 PM. After that, all I could hear was a crying child and loud people drinking beer in the bar. I was also charged extra when I asked for additional sides.

The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed here in March with my daughter and found it a very nice place, with comfortable rooms and beds and a reasonable price.

Breakfast was fresh and good. The staff were really friendly, and our room was quiet and very clean. Having air conditioning was a big plus in the summer.

The staff were lovely, and the place was clean. The food was delicious too, so it’s worth eating at their restaurant.
