Vale Pisco

The owners have thought through every detail, and the house sits in a beautiful, huge garden where it’s a pleasure to spend time. Vale Pisco is a beautiful place and well worth seeing if you’re nearby. Thanks for such a great stay! 😃

We were sold a room with a sofa bed, but it had no private bathroom and was inside a larger room. Calling that a proper independent room feels practically fraudulent. It added stress during our event, and the staff were confrontational instead of working with us. The place was expensive too, with VAT charged on top. I would never book it for an event again.

We paid €200 for the first night of a romantic weekend in the Roma Suite, expecting an elegant, comfortable room with a hot tub. Instead, it was a terrible experience. The room looked nicely decorated, but smelled unbearably musty. The sheets were dirty and damp, and the place felt like it had been given no attention. The hot tub water wasn’t hot, and then the heating stopped working too. We tried every available number for help. A technician arrived at 9:30 PM but couldn’t fix anything. We called again and were offered another room, but our requests weren’t honored. With no other option, we were told to wait until morning for a definite answer. We heard nothing by noon, so we called several times. It took until the tenth call for anyone to answer. They offered to refund just one night if we left immediately. We’d paid €100 a night and couldn’t even shower, sleep in clean sheets, or count on working heating. €200 for a dirty, moldy room. The way they handled this showed no professionalism, care, or respect for what had been promised. We felt cheated and lost the romantic weekend we’d planned. I’d never return or recommend it to anyone looking for even basic quality or decency.

Vale Pisco was a really special place, and I’d go back as soon as I can. It’s been put together with great taste, and the people are so kind. They take such care to make you comfortable and treat you warmly. The whole place feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. The rooms are fantastic, with an incredible view, and breakfast is irresistible. Thank you, Vale Pisco, for giving us the rest we needed so much.
