Casa Cachada

The hosts were extremely friendly, and the quiet surroundings make it easy to relax. The house is pretty, spacious, and well cared for, with a huge dining room. It has all the comforts, including a pool, a “fireplace,” table football, parking, and air conditioning in the bedrooms. A great choice in the Braga area.

The landlords made for a horrible stay with all their demands, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You’ll be bothered throughout your visit. There are cameras all around outside, including one pointed straight at the pool, so there’s no privacy. The landlady keeps watching the cameras and calling guests to tell them what they can or can’t do. Her husband is very rude and arrogant, insisting he’s right even when you try to talk things through calmly. A disgrace!

It was a terrible stay, and one I wouldn’t repeat. The owner’s husband was very rude to everyone, arrogant and convinced he was always right. The owner seemed interested only in the booking money. When problems came up, they told us to sort them out through the app. They also intruded heavily on our privacy, threatening to kick us out unless the pool camera was visible. Stay away from these people!

I spent a weekend at Casa Cachada and had a wonderful time from arrival to departure. The owner was always available if we had questions or needed suggestions. The property has great facilities throughout and is a good fit for families or groups of friends. It’s peaceful and private, yet only a few minutes from the city. Five stars.
