The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished, and perfectly equipped. It’s one of the best we’ve seen in southern Europe. The riverside location is amazing, with a natural swimming spot right next door. It can get a little lively during the day, but that adds to the charm. We’d recommend it 100%! Denis

The outdoor spaces were so peaceful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Monica was easy to reach, offered helpful local tips, and made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated, and the whole property was beautifully cared for, with lovely details and amazing views. We had a great stay at Casa do Engenho Braga and would love to come back. Thanks, Monica!

We stayed in eight places during our Portugal trip, and this one came out on top. There was loads of room, and the kitchen was really well equipped. Everything felt bright, clean, and modern, right beside a beautiful river. The owner clearly puts a lot of care into looking after guests. I highly recommend it.

With a car, it was easy to head out for different adventures and come back to unwind by the river with a drink. The setting is gorgeous and really tranquil. The host is top-notch, and the place can work for a couple or a group. Breathtaking!

Even in rainy winter weather, it was a fantastic place to stay. The jacuzzi and sauna made the experience even more memorable, and Monica and her mother were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was nice, too. The house feels like a dream, a renovated historic building in the forest near Braga and right by a river where you can swim. Such a romantic, natural, inspiring setting. I'd definitely love to stay again.
