Right across from the Bom Jesus Cathedral, the hotel is in a wonderfully quiet spot. The beds were comfortable, and the spa has a sauna and steam room. The indoor pool isn’t very large, but the view over Braga is lovely. Breakfast felt rather limited for a four-star hotel.

There are plenty of lovely walks nearby, some of them quite challenging, and the view over Braga is beautiful. A little way up the hill, there’s a bar and coffee shop looking over the boating pond. The hotel and its surroundings are lovely. The only small drawback with the location is the distance from the centre, though you know about that when you book.

We really enjoyed staying here, and Carolina’s hospitality made it even better. We were late, but she still arranged a personalized breakfast for us. Amazing service!

A nice place to pause while walking around. I popped into the hotel just for coffee, and the bar and lobby were clean with beautiful decor. The bathrooms were clean too. The coffee was somewhere between the best and the worst.

My partner and I loved having the nearby park’s quiet paths for walks. Hotel do Parque Bom Jesus in Braga also has a lovely old-fashioned character, with our spacious, elegant room blending historic touches and modern comfort. Its hilltop setting among greenery gives you a stunning view of Braga, and the Bom Jesus sanctuary is so close that daily visits were easy. A very pleasant stay.
