A great place for families or small groups to unwind in the sun and enjoy the views. The house is very clean, and the owners are kind. There’s plenty to do, including ping-pong, snooker, piano, swimming pool, table soccer, and footpaths for hiking to Bom Jesus and Sameiro.

The hosts were very friendly and made everything easy for us. We were delighted with Quinta do Bacelo and highly recommend it. The bedrooms are upstairs, with four very spacious rooms and two bathrooms. The house is older but in good condition and has plenty of space. On the ground floor there’s a games room with a pool table and foosball. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, and toilet, plus two terraces with tables for eating outside. There’s also a barbecue area with lots of firewood, and it was in good working order. The pool area is a highlight and in good shape, with a small toilet nearby, which is handy since there’s no bathroom on the ground floor. It sits on a hill overlooking Braga to the west, with spectacular sunsets. Bon Jesus and Sameiro sanctuaries are close by and easy to reach on foot. There aren’t shops right nearby, so you have to go down to Braga for shopping, though there’s a shopping area just a 2-minute drive away.

A peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy nature, with the city close by. Bom Jesus is right next door, and Nossa Senhora do Sameiro is just above after a huge green area.
