The location is excellent, close to several sights, restaurants, and the city center. The hostel is clean and well organized, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it.

It was definitely cheap, and the location really is central. The staff were friendly and helpful. Still, something about the stay felt odd. I wouldn't say I felt unsafe, but it was a strange atmosphere. There wasn't much privacy in the rooms or beds, and only the lower bunks had curtains. Some parts could use a proper refurbishment, especially the bathrooms.

The dorms got really cold during my winter stay in mid-February, and the showers were a bit gloomy, though at least the water was hot. The hostel's interior has a lot of character and a very social feel. Quite a few people staying there weren't tourists, and honestly that added to the experience. It was great hearing what moving to a new country had been like for them. The location was excellent.

The bathrooms and kitchen were kept clean, and both the staff and other guests were welcoming. I wished I could've stayed longer and made friends with the guests, but I had to leave. The bed was a little short even for a girl, though it was okay. It's a lovely budget hostel if all you need is a bed and aren't after fancy facilities. I had a lovely stay, but I'd have been happier if the shower room were improved a bit. The location is probably the best thing: a few minutes' walk gets you to the city center, bus stop, minimart, or museum.

The owner and staff, Nelson, Rafa and Gigi, were incredibly welcoming and shared lots of useful tips and places to go. InBraga hostel felt cozy and homely, with a sweet little garden and a nice kitchen. It's perfectly placed, ten minutes on foot from the train station and a minute from Braga's center. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the women's dorm had a beautiful view. The bathroom was cleaned often, and the shower was perfect. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Braga and Gerês national park 🌞
