Quinta do Botas

I called well before lunch to book a table. The woman on the phone sounded arrogant and told me they couldn’t take reservations because it was first come, first served. But when we arrived at lunchtime, it turned out they did reserve tables, and we were told to wait an unspecified amount of time, about an hour. The two owners who served us were in a bad mood, and the explanation on the phone had been poor. As a first-time visitor, I found the place badly organized and unfriendly, and it didn’t seem like all customers were treated the same way. More reputation than quality, in my experience. A bad visit. First and last time.

The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. I’ll visit again, and I recommend it.

Never disappoints! The place is welcoming and the service feels warm and friendly. The cod is one of the best!!!!

I came across this place by chance while wandering around, and it turned out to be a great find. It’s peaceful and well located for lunch with family or friends, with a beautiful outdoor area and lots of space for big events. The staff were five star. The cod with smashed potatoes was very good, as was the burger my son had. Good white wine too, and the desserts were divine. I recommend it.
