Casa Artelena was a great place to stay for a week, and I’ll definitely come back. The owners are a kind, smiling young couple who clearly care about service, and they gave me lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was delicious, especially the poached eggs, and everything was fresh and served with care. My room was nicely decorated and clean, with an extremely comfortable bed. I loved having a Nespresso Coffee Machine in the room for my first coffee in bed each morning. Thanks for such a top stay.

The peaceful, clean setting and beautiful decor were lovely, but what I’ll miss most are the spectacular pancakes and the morning smiles from Arthur and Magdalena. They made me feel at home and were always kind, helpful and cheerful. Casa Artelena is a wonderful place, and I’d absolutely recommend booking here. Five stars don’t do it justice. I’ll be back in October, and for me it’s a 10-star stay.

Magdalena and Artur were such lovely hosts, and the accommodation was cosy and really pleasant. We enjoyed the fresh fruit, tasty breakfast and good coffee. Thanks for all the great tips about Portugal’s landscape. We’ll be back!

I stayed four nights in Casa Artelena and had a really pleasant time. The house is huge but cosy, and room 1 had loads of space. It came with everything I needed, including AC, a coffee machine and a balcony with a beautiful view. The bed was extremely comfortable too. Breakfast or lunch is available on request. Maggie and Arthur are caring owners who bring a lot of good energy. I’ll definitely return.

The hosts made us feel like part of the family, and their knowledge of the local area and sights made our few days especially memorable. It’s a fantastic property in a beautiful part of Portugal. We’ll definitely visit again soon.
