Hotel Cristal Caldas

Handy place to stay in town while touring by bicycle 😁 It's bicycle friendly, with WiFi, restrooms and a card reader. One odd thing: the pillows are kept in the closets for some reason 🛏️ You can also get beer at breakfast, though you have to pay for it. 🍺

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant service was really good. Saroj, the man from Nepal, stood out as especially supportive and kind. They even had a private room for our bikes. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was quiet and pleasant. The staff were warm, professional and genuinely helpful, and the services were good too. Cristal Hotel is a place I'd recommend if you need somewhere to sleep, relax or explore Caldas da Rainha. Places and people like this help you recharge and feel at home. Muito obrigado por tudo. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly, polite and spoke English. Dinner was excellent, especially if you have a big appetite, though the buffet was just alright. Parking is free right outside, and you get a nice view from the front. I also liked being able to slide the windows open for fresh air. The price is very reasonable. A few things to know: some rooms don't have a refrigerator, and there's no safe for valuables, so take care with your belongings. Breakfast is simple. The view at the back isn't great unless you're on a higher floor. Still, I'd recommend Hotel Cristal Caldas.
