Resort Calheta Beach - All Inclusive

I had a really nice week at Calheta Beach hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there was a good variety of tasty food. I also enjoyed the sauna and bar, and the other facilities were nice. The entertainment team were welcoming and encouraged guests to join in, while reception helped arrange tours and rental cars. I’d recommend it for a relaxing vacation. The Wi-Fi in my room was unreliable, even after I reported it more than once and was told they’d check. The outdoor pool was too cold to use in February, which I understand, but I would’ve enjoyed it more if there’d been a heated pool or heaters nearby.

The Christmas decorations were everywhere when I visited in December, and they looked beautiful and made the place feel festive. I also liked having the ocean nearby, and the pool, sauna and gym were all nice. The rooms were pretty big, with separate rooms that gave us more privacy. The food was great too, and the drinks at the bar were good.

The location was farther from the main tourist areas than we’d realised, so for a longer stay, renting a car could be useful for visiting other places. The staff were so friendly and made a real effort to include us. Most spoke several languages and were happy to chat or help. The room and facilities were amazing. The buffet didn’t always suit picky kids, though the two attached restaurants were lovely and had a separate children’s menu. We enjoyed the pools and spa, even though the outdoor pool was freezing. We’d stay again.
