I still haven’t received the deposit back on my card a week later. The housekeeper took it at check-in, then didn’t come when we checked out. She just told me to leave the key and go, and said she’d return the money to the card. Then she showed me a photo of the bed taken apart and said she’d keep the deposit for that. Very strange behavior. The place and apartment were nice.
The house was nice, but the cockroaches put me off.
You really need a car to get around conveniently. That was the only downside to this beautiful house and its surroundings. I saw one large tropical cockroach, big enough to be a landmark. The main issue was the strange landlady: she didn’t come to hand over the house and kept the deposit for no apparent reason.
Teresa is lovely, and the views are beautiful. The accommodation is well equipped for a few days on the island, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, a ceramic hob, oven, and toaster.
The terrace upstairs is a lovely place to sit and take in the view. It’s a nice apartment, and Ms. Teresa does her best to make you feel at home.
