The location made it easy to explore the island, and there were some great restaurants nearby. We loved the pool and the incredible views. Villa Tabua was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

A lovely place surrounded by banana plants, and a great base for discovering Madeira in a local way. We got a warm welcome from the friendly host, who speaks Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and English. We’ll be back soon.

The rooms are small, but they’re well equipped, and the place feels simple and cozy among the banana plants. The people were very friendly. Lovely views from the little miradouro and the terrace.
