Rural House Casa Rosa

One of the best houses I've ever stayed in.

A lovely house, with facilities close by.

Casa Rosa was even prettier than we'd expected, and the owner made us feel so welcome. They were an extraordinary person, warm and kind, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The house itself is a charming nest of wood and stone, tastefully furnished and very inviting. There's a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and microwave, plus a small but comfortable bedroom up in the attic loft. We also had a TV, plenty of towels, an iron, and a hairdryer. A washing machine is in the outdoor storage area. A quick turn of the air conditioning made the place pleasantly warm in the evenings. Outside, the driveway is beautiful and there's convenient private parking; from there, you go down into the lovely garden, with its romantic-colored walls drawing you inside. We'd wanted an independent, warm, authentic place from the start, and this was a special stay. Thank you, Dinis!

We enjoyed the little garden, and the place was lovely to stay in for two nights. The beds felt a bit hard, though I slept a little better on the second night. The toilet was somewhat difficult to flush.
