We had a very pleasant stay, and the views from our room and from higher up were lovely. The food offered plenty of variety, so it was easy to find something we enjoyed, though some dishes weren’t especially good. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. I especially want to thank the young receptionist whose name I unfortunately forgot. She helped us with support and recommendations every time. The cleanliness stood out. I wasn’t fully happy with the pillowcase on the first night, but it was clear the room was being cleaned properly. Whenever we returned, it had clearly been cleaned, beyond just changing towels and making the beds. The location was convenient too, with a Continent supermarket about a three-minute walk away.

We planned to stay one night and ended up staying for two. It’s an old, cozy, comfortable hotel, not very modern, with an old hotel feel. The staff are nice and breakfast is good. If you’re looking for a nice, inexpensive option, this one works.

For about 80 euros for two people with breakfast, the hotel is good value. Some things are a bit old, but we enjoyed the pool, sauna, parking, quiet, and garden, and the staff were nice. Our room wasn’t very clean at first, but the cleaning ladies came back the next day and were really nice. The coffee was the one thing I really didn’t like. Everywhere else on the island you get a nice espresso for 1 euro, while the hotel only had an old instant Nescafe machine.

The service was a real highlight, and the rooms were comfortable with a view. There are two pools, breakfast was good, and you can also have dinner at the hotel. The capital and airport are fairly close, and parking in the hotel’s lot or garage was handy. I stayed for a week and only had breakfast there. The price felt reasonable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The place could use some renovation. It feels like its former glory has faded, and investment would help bring it back. I judged it as if it were a three-star hotel, and by that standard it would be a very good one.

The views and location were just right, and the staff were great. The amenities were good too. It seems the hotel is being renovated, but even now it felt clean and quaint, and I expect it’ll improve further. Breakfast was the one letdown because the choices kept repeating. Still, it offered good value.
