Francisco is seriously the nicest host we've ever met in an AirBnb. Our room was small, but the beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room felt like home, with comfy chairs and couches. There was also a nice bathroom and a small private backyard with picnic tables. It was a great overnight stop on the Camino, exactly as advertised. We liked being able to meet other travelers in the shared space while still having our own private room.

After three days of picking the cheapest albergues, we wanted a more comfortable rest, and Xicotina was just right for our Camino stay. It was perfect and cheap. The bed was comfortable, and the washing machine, very clean kitchen, and bathroom were all useful for pilgrims and tourists. The owner even called to check whether we were doing OK there. That was really nice of him, and we appreciated it. Portugese hospitality will stay in our hearts forever!

The landlord was extremely helpful, and the shared apartment was very clean, newly renovated, and in perfect condition. The only drawback is how close it is to the street. If your room is beside it, you can't sleep with the window open. Everything else was A+!

Francisco, the owner of Xicotina, went above and beyond to look after us, even checking on us later that night. He's a saint. The clean house suited our needs and was close to both the beach and the Camino trail.

There was lots of space, it was very clean, and the washing was free. A supermarket was nearby too. The downsides were the mosquitoes at night and how close it was to the train tracks.
