The garden and sea views are lovely, and the pool’s nice too, though I’m not much of a poolside person. The kitchen has all the basics, but it would feel small if you were cooking for eight adults. Shops and a few decent restaurants are within a fairly level walk, by Madeira standards. Getting into Caniço itself is another story: it’s only about a mile, but the steep walk takes a good 40 minutes. I’d hire a car. The villa is pleasant, with a nice garden and pool.
There’s loads of space and the views are amazing. The kitchen feels dated, and the cleanliness wasn’t quite up to the standard of the other places we’ve rented through James Villas.
The villa is in a gorgeous, quiet residential spot. Its furnishings are decent, though they could use an update to keep up with some of the competition.
You rent this place through Our Madeira, and they’re really helpful. The property has everything you could want.
Such lovely scenery, and it’s a peaceful spot.
