Casa Do Zagão - Turismo Rural

The team were really helpful, and I’d go back. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot for a weekend with family or friends. In my case, it also worked perfectly for a night before an early meeting nearby.

The owner was very welcoming.

The garden was awful and looked nothing like the photos on the site. The house itself seemed more like an annex, and the damp smell was unbearable. We felt clearly misled. We hadn't even spent five minutes there before going back to the bar to cancel our Booking stay. We were greeted in a bar right from the start, so things began badly, and everything else was horrible too. The owner said he would refund the money, but he didn't. We expected that after being misled by the photos. I've stayed in hundreds of places and never written a review like this. I'd rate it below zero if I could, but I can't.

We booked a place at the last minute, and the owner was very friendly and attentive. The bar was great, and the location is lovely. The room, though, had heaters that didn't warm up and a TV that didn't work, and there was no breakfast.
