Colina Villas with Private Pool

The villa is beautiful, and we would definitely return, despite a couple of problems. The air-conditioning in the main dining and sitting area didn’t work and kept tripping the whole villa. On the first day we reported that our 3 year old had got out through a broken door lock and fallen into the pool. Nobody came to repair it, so we had to push a unit against the door to stop the children opening it again.

There’s plenty of space in the house, with everything you need and a fully furnished kitchen. The pool is clean, and housekeeping is available 6 days/week. The wifi connection sometimes drops, but they fixed it when we asked. A very nice place to stay.

The accommodation is spacious and the staff are friendly and caring. The restaurant service and food were excellent. If you hire a car, the site has easy access to the N125 for travelling east or west without needing the A22 motorway and toll. Watch out, though, as Sat nav may still direct you onto the A22.

We spent time by the private pool, with loungers, and used the barbecue and seating area. The villa was spacious and good value, in an idyllic setting less than an hour from Faro. It had everything I needed for a perfect getaway.
