Quinta das Andorinhas

Ricardo and his team gave us a warm welcome at this family-run place. It’s a lovely base for exploring this beautiful part of Portugal. A rental car would be ideal, though we managed fine by calling Ubers when we needed one. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated, and ours had its own terrace. Breakfast had great options for gluten-free travellers. By the pool, there’s an honesty bar in the kitchen, which was excellent. The pool area is fenced, and there were always plenty of sun loungers. We’d absolutely visit again.

The owners are super friendly, the cats are gorgeous, and breakfast was perfect. There’s also a kitchen guests can use. The rooms are bright, sunny, clean and very nicely done, with a sleek modern look. This place is amazing. It made me fall in love with Portugal at first sight, and we’ll come back whenever we’re in the region.

What a marvelous hotel, with wonderful staff and an absolutely lovely breakfast. I’d stay here a thousand times!

The family who run Quinta das Andorinhas made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and they gave me a little tour of the property along with my keys. The staff were lovely. My room was spacious, with an enormous bed and a small terrace where I could sit outside. A very good breakfast was included. Outside, there’s a pool area and a kitchen set up for cooking and storing your food. The hotel is a little way out of town, but walking to the centre was no problem. It was also handy to leave my car in the hotel’s secure parking. Highly recommended!
