The apartments are spacious and come with plenty of equipment, and the complex is kept in good shape. Staff are really friendly. Just be aware of the distances: the site is huge, and our unit was at the far end from town, about a seven-minute walk to reception and 20-25 minutes into town. Taxis were fine taking us back up the long hill for 6-7 euros. Walking is pleasant when you’re fit and the weather’s mild, but I wouldn’t want to do it in high heat.

I booked what I thought would be a relaxing break after major surgery. Instead, dogs were howling for much of the day and night, and I came home more stressed than when I arrived. Reception didn’t care. Zero out of ten. I’ll never return, and I intend to warn as many people as I can. Avoid this place like the plague.

The resort, accommodation and grounds are still great, and the staff remain fantastic. I’ve been coming for years with my family and always look forward to the pools and our return. This year, though, the pool bar shuts at 7pm. Since the resort is so isolated, that leaves you having to go elsewhere for evening activities. I don’t drink, but the bar used to give parents a chance to meet and make holiday connections while the kids made friends. The early closing won’t stop me coming back, but I do wonder about the management’s decision. It takes away a good chance for families to mingle.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary shuttle into town was handy, though we were happy to walk. Our modern room was well equipped, especially the kitchen, and there’s a conveniently placed Spar for groceries, snacks and toiletries. Excellent value for money.
