The host sent check-in details at 11, then deleted the message at noon. At 2 pm, the reservation was cancelled, and after that he stopped replying to any messages. Very professional… This felt like a huge scam. You can find much better places for less money, though you might not get the view.

We got the access codes and all the paperwork the day before arrival, but then the booking was cancelled an hour before we were due to get there, after we'd already driven for seven hours. The owner wasn't answering messages and blamed the cancellation on having no internet. The only explanation we received was that the property was closed, even though it was possible to book it again on Booking.com. Completely unprofessional.

After driving for two days from northern France with my wife and daughter, we arrived to find no one there to greet us. Our 10-day reservation had been cancelled just an hour before we got in, leaving us without a place to stay. It was a real ordeal and ruined our holiday. I'm disgusted, and I wouldn't recommend this at all. They were very dishonest, to put it politely.

The location is spectacular, right by the beach, but the stay was awful. We booked for four and found a double bed plus a sofa bed. The sofa bed was dirty and in poor shape, and every slat was so hard against our backs that we couldn't rest. The bathroom was barely usable too. The shower curtain was dirty at the bottom, there was shower gel left on the walls, and the water came out so weakly that washing our hair was impossible.
