It’s decorated nicely, has the facilities listed online, and is within walking distance of central Cascais. But there’s a serious damp issue throughout the house, with a humid smell and mold in every room.

We paid for two nights but ended up staying just one. It was noisy and hot, and didn’t really suit a family. For the price, the experience wasn’t worth it, and the place needs proper maintenance.

The place was dirty, shabby and expensive, and there’s no air conditioning. The old decor and furniture looked more like things pulled from the trash than furnishings for a holiday rental. It’s beside a highway, so you can either hear the cars or have streetlights shining into your room.

There’s room for four, the decor is charming, and it’s close to both the beach and the center. The owner is friendly and helpful too. Still, it’s very humid, and in my opinion the staircase up to the first floor is dangerous.
