The owner and her daughter were the nicest people I’ve met, and the location is amazing for the price. The hostel felt really secure, with keys for both the front door and your room. Rooms were well kept and the bathrooms stayed clean. Such a great place, I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful, warm stay, and the service was fantastic. They let us leave our bags there all day. Our room had all 8 beds occupied, and the AC worked well, even getting cold, but we could adjust it. Music from the local bars was loud. Cascais is fantastic, and the location was perfect for just about everything.

The location is very central, but the bar downstairs makes nonstop noise until 3 a.m. It spoils an otherwise decent hostel. If you care about getting sleep, avoid it.

It’s a lovely, inexpensive hostel, but the music outside is deafening. I’m in my room writing this at 11:30 p.m. on a Saturday at the end of September, trying to work out how I’ll sleep. The hours ahead feel like torture. Since I arrived this afternoon they’ve played “Macarena” four or five times. The DJ should find another line of work, they’re absolutely useless.

The rooftop is beautiful, and the hostel itself is quite nice. But the bars blast music until 2 a.m., and we could only sleep after it stopped. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and the shower needs fixing. We’d booked three nights and left after the first.
