Eurostars Cascais

I found it easy to explore Cascais from here, with the beach and lively town center just a short walk away. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, mixing modern elegance with a coastal feel. My room was spacious and spotless, with lovely ocean views. Waking to the waves and having coffee on the balcony were highlights, and the pool was a great place to lounge in the sun. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the restaurant served tasty meals with local flavors. The staff gave me a warm welcome and made me feel at home. Whether you want a relaxed break or some adventures, it's a great base. I had a wonderful stay at Eurostar Cascais Hotel and can't wait to return. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway.

The beachside location made it easy to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere, and the lobby staff were especially friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, with clear attention to detail. Breakfast had everything we needed for a good start to the day. Taking an Uber into town was inexpensive, about €5 each way, and it was nice being away from the bar noise while still having easy car access. I didn't walk into town, though I think you could, and there are electric scooters I'd have used with more time. The restaurants five minutes away when you turn right out of the hotel were nice, but suited to evenings rather than brunch. My room was comfortable overall, with a lovely sea view and no noise despite being near a road. The floor was a bit grubby and the light switches were temperamental. I asked for a mattress topper because I like a softer bed and got one straight away. Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially Reception. The pool was very cold, though I suspect they don't heat it in colder months, which seems standard for hotels. Breakfast was average but fairly priced. I didn't try the evening food or cocktails. A decent modern four-star hotel.

The hotel is really nice, the staff friendly, and the basic rooms were fine. But I was shocked by the safety issue I spotted: panels were missing on the top outdoor stairwells. In an evacuation, someone rushing out with their kids could fall off. That's ridiculous and unsafe for visitors. Evacuations do happen.
