Marco, the owner, was lovely and extremely helpful. The rooms were large, very clean, and had everything we needed. We didn't use the kitchen much because we ate out every night. It was peaceful, and we enjoyed afternoons by the pool, though the unheated water was quite cold. The approach is down a steep, narrow track, which was a little unnerving. But there's a gate at the back of the property leading to a footpath, and you can reach town in under 10 minutes.

We were charged for both nights, despite not staying at all, and the owner refused to refund even one. With our wedding cake and other packed wedding meals in the cars, we had to keep the AC running while searching for somewhere else to stay. Our wedding guests were waiting at a beach restaurant for us to join them for dinner. What a welcome from Quinta da Villa. Disgraceful. We were shocked and outraged by the accommodation, which looked nothing like the Booking.com listing. We thought we had the wrong address when we arrived. Booking.com agreed with us and said others had complained too. The pool was nearly nowhere to be seen, and its advertised size was completely wrong. We wanted to spend our wedding time elsewhere, even if that meant using the 350e for a 5-star villa, since there are plenty of wonderful places at that price nearby. The owner was uncooperative and nearly pushed me outside because he was upset we were taking photos. He said the faulty pictures were Booking's fault and that we had to ask them for a refund, but that wasn't true. Booking were shocked by how many things the property had lied to us about. It made the second day of our wedding a nightmare, and our most special days felt ruined. This was the first time we'd ever complained about accommodation.

The host was grumpy from the moment he opened the door, and left us waiting in the rain with a baby. The rooms were cold, just like him. The surroundings are stunning, but after one night we had to leave because we couldn't take his bad vibes anymore. We can't recommend it.

The host was lovely, friendly, and always ready to help. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, with a large, very comfortable bed and sofa bed. It's on a beautiful, peaceful estate surrounded by nature, just a five-minute walk from Cascais centre. We were already thinking about coming back as we left.
