The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful when I was going through a difficult time, and helped me so much. I’m sorry I never learned his name, but I’m truly grateful. We had a lovely time here and are already planning to return. Our room was spacious, with a pleasant view of the castle, and the service was perfect. Castelo de Vide is a romantic village that’s well worth seeing, and the castle is only a few minutes’ walk from the center.

The terrace overlooking the old town and casstle made for an unforgettable evening. The place has been fully renovated and was very clean, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too.
