The family who own this beautiful, peaceful farm live on site and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Alexandra went especially far to make things easy with our baby, providing a crib, baby bath, high chair and toys. We loved meeting the horses right outside our door, and enjoyed spring walks among wildflowers across the large property. The accommodation was a lovely place to slow down and enjoy nature. Breakfast each day was delicious, with local cheeses, fresh orange juice and yogurts. Nearby towns are quaint but sleepy. We also had a lovely lunch and wine tour at the beautiful Herdade da Malhadinha Nova nearby.

What an amazing place! We've stayed at Monte da Apariça three times already, and we'll definitely be back. It's so peaceful and relaxing, just right for escaping everyday stress. Alexandra, Paula and Dulce are especially lovely, and the view from the pool across the Alentejo hills is magnificent. We had little horses for company throughout our stay, too. Everything gets five stars!
