I’m so glad I came across this quiet little place. Jorge made us feel welcome and was attentive throughout. It’s wonderfully peaceful here, and I’d happily return for a longer stay.

Jorge is a fantastic host, thoughtful and full of tips about the best places to see and trails to try on Faial. The property itself is gorgeous, a little piece of heaven. 10 out of 10, I’d say stay here if you visit the island.

Jorge Falcato runs a holiday home here, with stays available through Airbnb. The garden is generous, and the views across to Graciosa and São Jorge are fantastic. He’s attentive and knows how to look after his guests.

We had such a restful day at Jorge’s house, with good food and lovely conversations. It’s a hidden, almost magical spot, and we felt right at home. We hope to return soon. One thing to know, the real owner of the house is Biscoito, the yellow cat.

The gardens and scenery were wonderful, and my room was so quiet and restful. The owner gave us an excellent welcome. I’d definitely come back.
