We felt welcome and comfortable thanks to Manager Carlos, who was humble and kind, and his team were great too. The restaurant was another highlight, with friendly, kind staff and manager. A great experience, and I hope to stay again next time I visit Portugal.

Lunch at the restaurant was delicious, and our waiter was super friendly. We had moelas and octopus salad, then bacalhau for my main and octopus rice for my mother-in-law. What a great find. We'll be back!

This was the nicest hotel I stayed at in Portugal. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The hotel has a charming, comfortable feel and was exceptionally clean. The room was lovely, and the restaurant and bar were very nice too. A really nice place to stay.

We found it on booking.com, and it was just what we were hoping for. The place has relaxed old school charm, with professional and attentive service, and it's dog friendly. Our room was extremely clean and had what we needed for a night or two; the front desk was helpful when we needed anything else. We didn't get to try dinner, but hope to next time. There are two hotels nearby with very similar names, so double check that you've got the right location.

The owner clearly loves his guests, always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is a bit old, but consistently clean, and the rooms are well cared for. The Portuguese food is good, and prices are average. A great hotel, highly recommended if you're visiting here.
