The kids loved it, and we found it excellent value. Once you arrive, you get a huge, very luxurious apartment with excellent facilities. It’s a fantastic hidden gem and a great base for exploring the region over several days. There was nothing we didn’t like.

There’s a pool table and a BBQ, and the shared area works well for a group of friends. The “pool” is really just a small pond, though, and with so few amenities in the houses, you’ll want to bring whatever you might need. It’s isolated, with barely any phone signal or Wi-Fi despite the listing, and there weren’t any routers at all. The houses were very dirty when we arrived. It’s a decent place, but expensive for what you get, and I wouldn’t choose it for a trip with kids.

The outdoor setting is lovely and the grounds feel really inviting. Inside, though, the shared areas didn’t feel clean or well cared for. The sofas looked dirty, and the floors and counters needed more attention. The beds and towels were very clean, but I really think the rest of the interior needs work. Contact with reception was also a letdown. They were rude and unhelpful whenever we tried to get in touch. It’s a shame, because the place has a lot of potential.

We were very sorry to see a horse tied up day and night with a very short rope and no room to move. It looked inhumane. We even saw it get loose on its own, but it was tied up the same way again. The staff told us they’d already raised the issue with the owners, but nothing changed. If it weren’t for the horse, our stay would have been perfect. I sincerely hope those responsible sort this out. The place deserves praise for its quality and friendly service, and the animals deserve to be treated with dignity too. The house was clean and comfortable, and the staff were attentive. They checked whether we needed anything and even cleaned daily when needed. The location was convenient too, with supermarkets nearby and a café about 3 km away where we were warmly welcomed.
