Quinta da Alquimia

After days exploring the Algarve, this was just the place to unwind. The apartment was roomy, spotless, and had a big comfortable bed; the kitchen had everything we needed, and everything worked as it should. There was also a booklet with all the information and parking on site. The grounds are beautifully kept, with gardens, paths to wander, swings for our daughter, and a great pool. It’s set in quiet countryside among orange groves and fields, though Lagos is about an eight-minute drive away. We stayed five nights and loved it. The owner was so friendly and had helpful suggestions for places and restaurants to try.

We loved the dogs, they're so sweet and cute. Even with the door open, they respected our space and stayed out. We did hear barking at night, but that was from neighboring dogs, not the ones at the accommodation. The owners were wonderful during the power outage, bringing us water, filling two buckets, and lending us a candle and an LED light. They kept us updated and were incredibly kind throughout. The apartment was clean and hygienic, with a pool we could use whenever we wanted, plus lots of quiet. The owners live behind the accommodation. We travel often, and this was the most relaxing apartment we've stayed in. We’d definitely come back. Thanks for the best experience of my whole vacation. 10/10.

I came for race weekend and found the place spacious and comfortable. Getting in can be a little tricky, but the location makes it worthwhile.

The pool is enormous, and so is the garden. The property was quiet, and although there are dogs living there, they weren't noisy or a bother. Everything was spotless, carefully looked after, and had what we needed for a great holiday. We felt completely comfortable and were delighted with our stay. If I could choose just one holiday apartment for the rest of my life, this would be it. Thank you!
