Flora made our stay so easy. She looks after the house and welcomed us so warmly. We went to Gerês in winter, and it felt cozy and warm, just like being at home. The place itself is beautiful, and while it is somewhat isolated, the lovely hospitality and views in the surrounding villages make the trip worthwhile. I’d recommend it especially if you want to experience the local culture, including homemade food and products grown right there.

We rented the whole house in Geres park for five people. There were five beds and five bathrooms, plus heating and breakfast. The woman looking after the place was awesome, and the price through booking.com was very reasonable.

For a quiet weekend surrounded by nature, this is a great choice. The breakfasts and Flora’s friendly welcome stood out. The house is fantastic, with spacious rooms that all have their own bathrooms, and the amenities are excellent. I’d recommend it and would come back.

The village and the whole surrounding area are really special, almost like a little paradise. We spent a weekend at this lovely, welcoming, clean house in Mote Abades and had a wonderful time. D. Flora was very kind, as was D. Jacinta, who owns the Encontro restaurant. We recommend it!

This is a good spot for anyone after a very, very quiet holiday. The service was really friendly. There’s not much to do except relax and walk in nature. There are no cafés or supermarket, just a modest but pleasant restaurant.
