I spent a week at this lovely hotel in Coimbra. It’s very clean and quiet, and right in the center. The owner and all the staff were wonderful to guests, and even the regular guests were kind and helpful. If I come back to Coimbra, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The customer service was exceptional, and the location is convenient, about a 10 minute walk over the bridge to the city center. Restaurants and cafes are right across the street. Just keep in mind that the third floor has lots of steps and very low ceilings, so it may not suit older or tall people.

Across the river from Coimbra’s center, this is a very good place to stay, with a short and pleasant walk into town. There’s free covered parking nearby. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are attentive.

There’s a small shared kitchen area with fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits and the like, which I really liked. It’s a lovely place in a great location, and the management is very attentive to whatever you need.

The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual. This is a recently refurbished, old-style guest house, with spacious, comfortable rooms and a brilliant location near the old city. There’s a kitchen downstairs, but it only has a coffee machine, small fridge, and microwave, so you can’t really cook for yourself. Highly recommend!
