Isabel and João put so much care into this place, right down to the small touches and breakfast. It felt like visiting a favourite aunt and uncle, and made us feel at home while still feeling far away from everything. I can already tell I need to come back.

The house is warm and peaceful, with a big fireplace and a wonderful view of the river. The bedrooms are cozy, and the bathrooms are spacious with big baths. Joao and Isabel, the couple who run the place, were really friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful spot.

The owners were friendly, the rooms were nice, and it was very quiet. They also offer kayaks to paddle on the dam. Recommended.

I loved this place so much I nearly gave it one star to keep it to myself. Love you João and Isabelle.

Such a shame. My wife and I had been looking forward to spending a weekend here, but the owner's sheer arrogance put us off the planned trip.
