We planned to stay for two days and ended up staying four, enjoying the forts and walking around the town's perimeter. The place is very nice, family-owned, and just off the main square. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily, with fresh towels, and the service was excellent. The cleaners even helped with our laundry. Teresa, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and gave us a free upgrade. The Wi-Fi was good too. I'd definitely stay again.

The team’s warmth and readiness to help made the stay feel welcoming, and the calm atmosphere suited both a restful break and that feeling of being at home while away. The space is simple, but it’s cared for with real thought, from the cleanliness and order to the attention to guest comfort. At Residencial António Mocisso Guesthouse, the combination of tradition and cordial service makes it a place I’d trust for a pleasant stay.

Our only small drawback was that the triple room felt a bit cramped, which is why I’m giving four stars. Otherwise, the service and cleanliness were five-star. The room was spotless and orderly, with a fridge, air conditioning, a tea maker, decent beds, and a full bathroom. A very friendly, polite, respectful woman kept in touch by phone, sent us all the directions, waited for us to arrive, and showed us the room with real care.
