Apartment #4 had loads of room, including an extra sleeping area, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Everything worked, and check-in was easy once I figured out the keypad: press the key symbol, enter the door code, then press the symbol again. :)

We were very happy with the apartment. It’s cute, right in the middle of Ericeira, and has a beautiful terrace. Getting everything arranged was simple. Weekend noise was the main downside, though shutting the windows helped a lot and there was AC. The toilet paper was a bit odd too, just one layer.

The owner was really friendly, and the town itself felt welcoming too. From here you can get to nearby beaches and towns, including Sintra, by local bus or on foot. The apartments are in the center of a beautiful traditional town that’s also friendly to tourists and surfers, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. There is some nighttime noise in the heart of town. The old house has been carefully renovated with original materials reused alongside modern minimalist comforts, and it has everything you need to cook for yourself.

The host was so friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and spacious. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all an easy walk away. We’ll definitely come back!

A fantastic rooftop terrace, a really helpful host, and a good location. The apartments are small but nice.
