The bathrooms were dirty, and there was a smell from the old drainage system. Ericeira itself is beautiful, but this hostel isn't. It's an old house that wasn't built to be a hostel, and there are much nicer places to stay in Ericeira with better facilities.

It's about a 20-minute walk to Sumol Summer Fest, and roughly 10 minutes on foot to the center, beaches and supermarkets. The place is welcoming and well equipped, with lovely decor and appealing colors. Breakfast has plenty of variety, and the owners are very friendly and helpful, even with things unrelated to the establishment.
