Guest House A&z

The little touches around the guest house made the stay a lovely memory. Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the restaurant food was fantastic. I’d highly recommend staying at the guest house and eating at Zavala Restaurant!

The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and they speak English. There’s a restaurant downstairs with great breakfasts and nice fish dishes. The rooms were tidy, with good amenities and a lovely ocean view, and the beach is right next door. You can also rent bikes or use the laundry service if you need to.

Bright, quiet rooms with comfortable beds and an immaculately clean private bathroom. This is a lovely old traditional house turned into a hotel, with friendly family staff and very clean rooms. If you get one of the two rooms with a sea view, there’s a private terrace where you can watch surfers, fishermen, cyclists, and people jogging along the promenade that stretches for miles along the coast. The buffet breakfast at the hotel’s Zagalo restaurant was very good, with freshly made scrambled eggs and bacon available if you want them, plus excellent ocean views.

We had a lovely time at A&Z. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of the ocean, and the service was incredibly kind and helpful. I appreciated that the owners had thought of guests with allergies. Breakfast included gluten-free bread and cookies, which suited me very well.
