Nuno, the owner, was really nice and helpful. He treated us to a good bottle of wine and shared lots of useful tips. The place is very well located, has everything we needed to be comfortable, and is beautifully decorated. My only complaint is the shower, where it was hard to control the water temperature.

We had a wonderful week in Esposende, a charming village near the house with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Villa Spozendus is beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and ideally placed at the mouth of the Cavado River for exploring Northern Portugal. Guimarães, Braga, Porto, Viana do Castro, and other towns are all easy to reach from there.
