The views across the area are lovely, and the rooms and grounds look even better in person than they do in the photos. It feels like a great mix of countryside in the Algarve and easy access to the beaches, with Armação de Pêra about a 15-minute drive away. You can also get to Portimão, Faro, or Lagos. The host was really welcoming and happy to answer questions.

We spent two great weeks at Quinta Mesquito. It’s peaceful there, and the apartment was very clean. Richardo was helpful throughout and available whenever we had a question. Silves, Pera, and other nearby towns and villages are easy to reach, and we’d definitely stay there again.

It was such a nice place to switch off and get away from everything. I had a really good stay, and even got to have fresh orange juice or lemonade made there each morning. I’d happily come back.
