Vila Gale Estoril Hotel

The breakfast was generous, tasty, and had plenty of variety, and the restaurant team were quick, friendly, and professional. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. Our room was comfortable, tidy, and clean, and housekeeping did an impeccable job with great attention to detail. Elsi and Diogo at reception were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help. The restaurant floor manager also deserves praise for being so welcoming and keeping things well organized. Our stay at Vila Galé Estoril Hotel was very pleasant and met all our expectations. The only small thing is that a few aesthetic details in the rooms could be refreshed to make the experience a perfect 5+. We'd happily return for another five-star stay. The staff treated us like royalty, and everyone we met was so friendly. Diana at the front desk helped us figure out the train and suggested a walk along the ocean path. At breakfast, the gentleman serving the buffet was terrific, and his service was second to none. He spoke French, too. We stopped by the bar twice so far, where Fernando made some of the best espresso martinis we've ever had, and we've had plenty. obrigado Fernando! Estoril is lovely. Lisbon is an easy, short train ride away, and Cascais is worth the short walk along the oceanfront. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very clean hotel with excellent staff. They're always there to help guests, and the cook does a great job trying to please everyone. All the people who work here are great and put in a lot of effort. You're close to everything, including buses, trains, and beaches. I strongly recommend it.

The rooms are well laid out, with fresh linens changed every day. It's a short walk to the Praia and about a 25-minute walk to Cascais. Breakfast had lots of choice, with fresh pastries, eggs made any style, different coffees, and more. Afternoon tea with fabulous pastries and a full Sunday brunch were the icing on the cake. We also loved relaxing at the bar with fine wine and sangria. Every staff member was professional and helpful. A special mention to Fransisco and Mariana, Camilla, and Miguel (?) for serving; Beatricz, Elsa, Barbara, and Carla at the front desk; Fernando at the bar; and of course the cleaning staff. If you're in Estoril, Portugal, you must stay and eat here.
