Victor is such a friendly, wonderful host, and he kept checking that everything was okay and whether we needed anything. The place is ideal for a getaway, with a lovely pool for relaxing in the sun. Our room was nice and very clean, and having AC was great in the heat. The breakfast buffet had a healthy selection. They really go the extra mile.

Victor was a real gentleman and helped me find interesting places around town, including a cork farm tour. It was a pleasure staying in his historic family home. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is modern and lovely. You can walk to all the interesting sites in Évora from this perfect location. My highest recommendation.

Google Maps couldn’t really get us to the hotel, so we parked in the public garage and walked the last 150 m. The very friendly host, Victor, runs this small hotel in his family’s historic building. Our room was spacious and modern, while the guest living room and breakfast room have a much more historic feel.

The hosts are proud to share this gorgeous place, and they made us feel welcome. It’s close to the town square, so there’s no parking right there. You can leave the car outside the wall, or park for free overnight and move it during the day. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The shower was really nice, and they have the wackiest hair dryers I’ve ever seen 😄. It got a bit loud from the street at night, but once you were asleep it was easy to sleep through. I’d definitely recommend it for the location and hosts!
