The junior suite had a window bench and a couple of chairs, with a good bed and pillows. We came in November and found plenty of free parking right outside. The building doesn’t look especially impressive from outside, but the inside has a cool vibe. It was a short walk through the wall to the sites, and breakfast had lots of choices and was great. We were warm in the room and couldn’t adjust the temperature. I also didn’t like the perfume smell when we first came in, though opening the doors cleared it. Solid hotel, and I’d stay again.

The rooftop was the highlight for me. Between the seasonal pool, sauna, and Avista Bar, there are breathtaking panoramic views across Évora's historic rooftops, especially nice for sunset drinks. Breakfast was a standout too, with a generous spread of fresh local products, cheeses, pastries, and excellent coffee. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and they shared great local tips. The location is spot-on, just a short walk from the UNESCO old town, Temple of Diana, and Chapel of Bones. Free parking was a bonus. Highly recommended for couples or anyone exploring Évora, it’s a relaxing oasis and fantastic value. 9/10!

The breakfast was great, though the scrambled eggs looked awful and had a blue color. Please change them. The room also felt darker than it appeared in the booking photos, and the bathroom could use a dimmer light for nighttime. I booked this hotel for the sauna, but reception only said a reservation was needed. They should have explained that it was best to book as soon as possible, especially when someone asks about the sauna. Communication matters. The stay was generally good, just not what I expected. You get one chance to make an impression, and if I ever return to Evorra, which I doubt, I would choose a better hotel.

The restaurant is beautiful, and breakfast was a real feast. The room was lovely too, with clean, cozy bedding and comfortable beds.

It was very noisy, and the room was so cramped I could only open my suitcase in front of the door. There were two single beds, even though it was listed as a king bed.
