Faro has a lot to offer, including a nature area near Faro Beach where I saw Spoonbill, Flamingo, Storks, Stilts and an occasional Black Ibis, along with other wildlife. After a while there are wooden walkways that stretch for a few miles. I also liked Mercado de Faro, very close to the Guest House, with around 10-15 places to eat. A boat to Faro beach is €3.50 return from beside the castle, just east of the Marina, and takes about 25 minutes each way. There are lots of other boat tours too. As for the Guest House, it’s close to everything, with comfy rooms and beds, wonderful showers, great floor tiles and very high ceilings. There’s a lovely place to prepare and eat food, plus a terrace off the room that’s fab. Entry is all electronic. I had a great trip for a great price and would recommend the place. I’ll be back.

The beds were comfortable, and breakfast at their partner was lovely. It’s in a good spot near the centre, and I’d definitely stay again.

We were warmly welcomed at reception, and the room suited what we needed. It’s near the harbour and other local sights. I’d say a boat trip to one of the islands near Faro, Portugal is a must.

The guest house was very clean and close to everything we needed. Online check-in was quick and easy to use. We had an amazing experience.

I was only there for one night. The private bathroom room was clean, and the shower area was good. The bed felt a bit stiff, and noise was the main problem: the place is loud, with people arriving late or leaving early easily heard. Other than that, it was okay.
