Best Western Hotel Dom Bernardo

The rooms are clean and modern, parking behind the hotel was easy, and the receptionist who welcomed me was lovely. My checkout experience was very different. When I asked at reception at 8am whether they served an English breakfast, the receptionist, Felipe, said it was “out of context.” That seemed a strange response to a breakfast question. I also had to ask his name because he wasn’t wearing the name badge required by law. The hotel itself was excellent, but Felipe’s manner spoiled it for me.

We’d stay here again. We spent several nights while my wife was in hospital with a serious medical condition, and the staff were consistently helpful and understanding. The rooms are basic, but clean and quiet. It’s close enough to the city centre and grocery stores, and breakfast was fine.

Everything we needed was in the bright, spacious room, and it was cleaned daily. The staff were very friendly, and the place is right in the centre, with all the essentials nearby and delicious restaurants just around the corner. I recommend staying here! 🫶🏻

From the outside, the hotel looks a bit dated, but inside it’s nice and clean. The rooms are very good, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. There’s free parking behind the hotel, and the city centre is close enough for an easy walk. Breakfast was good too.
