I was glad to find Anchor Pubs just a short walk away, a nice quiet spot for a drink. The old town location was great too, with the bus and train stops only minutes away once I’d got my bearings. My room was spacious, with a great bathroom, and there was a little patio outside. The kitchen looked lovely, though I didn’t use it. The place was charming and very clean. The lady was helpful and came in early to get my room ready since I arrived before the 3pm check-in. There are a couple of clubs nearby, and people were talking and shouting loudly until about 3am. I needed earplugs. I’d stay again.
We were only in Faro for two days, but this bed and breakfast made a strong impression. The enormous, well-equipped room even gave us space to do our morning exercise, and the place has a distinctive, carefully put-together feel, somewhere between a fairytale and a design masterpiece. The shared spaces were just as welcoming: a full kitchen with a fridge and dishwasher, a living room with a fireplace, and an outdoor courtyard with a mural that brought Harry Potts to mind. The service was impeccable. Special thanks to the maintenance lady, who let us use the washing machine and brought our clean clothes back to our room. If I return to Faro, even for longer, I’d choose this place again. 100%.
The kitchen, living room, and courtyard were all really well cared for. The B&B itself was lovely and clean, and its location is excellent for the city center.
The owner was kind and helpful with information. My room was just right, with a very large bed, spotless linens, a clean bathroom, and quality towels.
Sara, the hostess, was great and always available if we had questions. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen was luxurious, and everything was exceptionally clean. A great place to stay in Faro, and I’ll definitely return next time.
